My eldest son and I adore guacamole but my youngest does not share our avocado passion.
But he does love peas!
And peas are packed full of fibre so when we made these homemade turkey burgers recently, we decided to make our taste buds align😜
With a bit of experimentation, i.e. throw in whatever we like, Luca and I came up with this.
300g frozen peas (zapped in the microwave for a couple of minutes)
1 red onion, chopped
a handful of chopped coriander
2 tsp cumin
1 tablespoon natural yoghurt
squeeze of lime
dried chilli to taste
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
- Whizz with a stick blender
- Serve without eating it all at once! 😝
We actually did have enough left over to serve with some crackers later.
It will last for a few days in the fridge so as it is so versatile, I am going to double up next time.
